Default help with Halltech

I need help with something. I tried to get help on the Halltech web site but it would not allow me to send it. I just bought a O2’ C-5 coupe the seller told me that it had a Halltech Ram Air on it. I went on the Halltech site and could not find anything that looked like it.
It has a Carbon Fiber air bridge that is connected to the MAF and the Throttle body with smooth red tubing. After the Air bridge there is a Polished Metal tube that bends downwards and connects to the air filter. On the tube is a laser engraved logo stating “Halltech”, “For competition use only”. The air filter has a red nylon bag covering it. The whole gizmo hangs down about a ½ inch below the air dam and gets direct air flow from the bottom. I am asking for help in identifying this set up. Where can I get info on it at this time. Such as claimed horse power and torque increase. Maintenance etc. Thanks for the help

pics would help, but from the sounds of it you have one of the early Halltech intakes, I believe it is called the TRIC and beware as it is not made anymore because it can suck a shot of water into your engine due to the filter location if you hit a standing puddle. I think the claimed HP increase is 10-12hp.

Sound like the Tric, which is an excellent intake and the one I use, but if you have water concerns, then purchase their TRAP.

It is their old TRIC intake. A very good one. About the same power increase as the TRAP. You just need to clean the filter like a k&n. The red cover was used to help keep out water when driving in the rain. No real need for it otherwise.

Are you selling it?? The TRIC that is.
