Should I or Shouldn't I?
I am seriously considering having Lingenfelter install a new cam and heads package ($5950.00) to make 500 HP. Do I need to install a better clutch to handle the new power?

Keep in mind that is 500 at the crank - not at the tires. You should be okay for a while with the stock clutch provided you aren't abusive. FWIW, I have over 500 at the tires and still run a stock clutch ( no clutch dumps for me ) .

i say go with a new clutch, what the use of having all that power if you cant get it to your wheels
Plus your gonna need one down the road anyway, might as well do while the car is out of service
