Spring question
I am looking at getting some LS6 heads and a G5X3 cam for my 97. I was told I need to get double springs and titanium retainers to do so. My questions are:
1. Is there any special size spring i will need?
2. Are they fairly simple to install or do you have to do any machining work to the heads or anything like that?
3. Does anyone have any recommendations on which springs I should go with?
I am not very familiar in this area so I appreciate all the help. My engine blew last week and I have had to learn all this stuff alot quicker than I wanted to. Hopefully when its all back together it will be alot better and faster than before. Thanks again for the help.
