I fold in my mirrors to cover my car. Left work and uncoverd my car to find out my right hand side mirror was limp. Would not stay in any position, move the mirror around to see a spring, and what looked like a c clip, or somthing of that nature moving around, not tight. I figure real easy fix, call up dealer they say need whole new mirrior, 148, and matching paint 282, im like wtf. Are they taking me for a ride, or if one lil part fails in there do i fork out 500 bucks?
Don't go to the dealer! You'll get the same suspect part.
Call this guy.

Ed fixed mine this summer and did a great job! highly recommend!
Charged $60 and got a better repair. He's a corvette guy also.
Ed has a set of instructions to remove the mirror and you send him the hole part an he returns it fixed in a couple days. Removing the mirror is about a 30 minute job the first time and not very difficult with the instuction - half that the second time.
