HUD harness source
I have gathered together everything to install HUD in my 01 Z except the 11 pin harness. I thought I would be able to get one here , but I haven't had any luck gettting a reply.
Anyone have a source? How about a wiring diagram so I can make one myself?

I didn't get an email reply from him either about the harnesses. I would have bought a complete 11 pin harness, just to be done with it. But I really just need a pinout or a picture as I have one that is messed up and can fix it if I know which wires go where. (a few of the wires have been pulled out of the connector)
This really sucks, because it's a really simple harness. If I felt like it, I could make my own harness from scratch if I have a pinout. Someone should make this wiring info available.. for those DIY people.
Gene really doesnt just sell HUD parts, only complete setups.
If you find out another source for them..., let me know

I'm a little baffled, when we retrofitted the HUD to our 98, we used a HUD module and an IP clauster that had support for driving the HUD. IIRC, the cable was an integral part of one or the other (I _think_ the module)

Not to hijack your thread, but does anyone know if the newer clusters are all HUD capable, or do I have to get a cluster from a car that had this option?
I would be interested in this mod if I didnt have to swap the cluster out of my 2004.

Hey guys - sorry to hijack, but you'll know! I am thinking about buying a 00 nassau blue coupe - but I want to upgrade the guage cluster to the one in the pic above, and also have the HUD installed - is it a simple install? What about the automatic climate control? Can you just pull the manual unit and plug in the auto unit, and install the exterior temp sensor? Thanks alot guys - if this is difficult, I may pass on the car.
