Default 00 Vs. 04 Sensors?

I have a 00 vert. and an 04 coupe. I want to swap the wheels on both cars without breaking down the tires and switching the sensors. I know that they have different sensors since GM changed the design on 01 and later. Can they communicate with each others computer or do I have to swap the sensors out to make them work

Thanks in advance for your help!

No, sorry. The recievers that communicate with the sensors are different, so old can't talk to new and new can't talk to old.
