Bad Brake Control Module?
Has anyone ever had a brake control module fail on a C5, and if so how much did it cost to repair?
My dad has a '99 Seville with 42K miles, the ABS / Stability Control lights are on. It is throwing C1217 which indicates pump motor shorted to ground. The Dealership is saying the control module needs to be replaced and it will cost $1,600.
Is this what happens with these advanced ABS/Traction/Active Handling Systems?
