Headlights pop up when brake is applied

Headlights pop up when brake is applied
My friends 2000 a4 coupe has a problem. Whenever she applies the brakes, the headlights pop up. When she lets off of the brakes, they go down. If she turns on the headlights, they pop up as they are supposed to and every thing is normal. What can I look for to try and help her out??

Funny, my girl's headlights pop up when I hit the gas.
