Default Converter install help! Need info ASAP.

My cars at the dealership having a Yank 3000 TC installed. They have the tranny out of the car but the damn converter won't slide all the way onto the transmission input shaft. It bottoms out prematurely and doesn't lock in place. Is it possible that I some how got the wrong converter?

No one???? The only thing I can think of is if they sent me a regular Y3000 instead of the C5Y3000. If so..I hope Yank makes this right.

Did you order the converter directly from Yank?

No and that was obviously a mistake. I talked to Mike from Yank tonight and he sent me a copy of the order form from the sponser it came from. They of course ordered me a f-body converter for my C5(after I specifically told them 2001 Corvette). Mike's checking with all his vendors to see if he can find me a C5 converter in stock somewhere(he's waiting several weeks for his specially machined parts to come in). I've still yet to get a hold of the sponser who sold the converter to me. Either they're going to be paying for my install or paying for someone to same day ship me a suitable replacement. I'm hoping they step up to the plate and fix their mistake...if not I may have to count on forum support to get this resolved without me getting screwed.
