When I first got my 02, if I accidentially spun a tire it would shut me down...you could feel the braking from corner to corner...once on wet pavement I felt it kick in, but of late i no longer have to turn it off to spin the tires and on a recent trip to "Vettes On the Rockies" the rear end broke loose with no help from the traction control I brought it back...Chevy dealer is so far no help...has made several calls to the factory but they haven't come up with an answer...Can anyone help with a possible solution I can do or take to the dealer
My experience is when the tires wear down and it doesn't take as much horsepower to break em loose the TC/AH appears to not react as quickly as with new tires.....

I agree. When new I couldn't spin the wheel. As I added mods it became easier. Now with almosst 21k miles a can spin em with traction control ON. And in competitive mode they break free in shift to second sometimes.

I noticed that after 7k miles(I have no mods), it will allow me to slide the rear a little going around some sharper corners...I kinda like it though.
