Question about acceleration...
I dont know if this is common knowledge or totally wrong. Heres my question: Im going to keep the speeds and gears simple just for the example.
Lets say that your 2nd gear ends at 75mph, and your 3rd gear ends at 100mph. You decide you want to see how fast you can get from 50mph to 100mph, but you dont feel like shifting so you do the entire run in 3rd gear. Now I know your overall time and the time it took to get from 50-75mph will be slower because you were in the wrong gear, but what about the time it took to get from 75-100?? Even though you were in the right gear you didnt have the momemtum from getting to 75mph in 2nd at the faster rate, so would you actually be slower going from 75 to 100??
