Automatic: 11.5 and faster...tranny question
What kind of tranny work have you done to make these cars handle the horsepower? How far will the stock tranny go with a converter, shift kit, and gear upgrade?

i have at least 15 runs at 11.5 to 11.75 w/ 100 shot of nitrous, bfg 17" drag radials ,zo6 rear 3.42,flp level iv trans,ss3200 yank and it still feels like the day it was installed.i never ran the stock trans at the track because i thought it wouldn't last long with the n20 torque.

Our 00' has just bolt on mods/tuning with 3.15/stock TC and increased line pressure/shift firnmness and it has been run at the track, autox road raced, and is the Wife's EDD for over 38K hard miles. No issues at all and to date a best 12.47@111.91. I am suprised its still in one piece.......rear has been apart a few times for some freshening.
