Rocking Seats
It's been awhile since this subject was discussed. Anyone come up with an alternate fix to GM or taking them apart yourself? I'm afraid if I get them apart I won't get them back together!
Anyone in the Dallas area have theirs fixed?

Upon searching the forum...
I found quite alot of very useful info. on removing the seats and fixing yourself. Pictures, step by step instructions... First sign of snow here in Jersey and I'll attempt the big fix.

I did the fix that showed how to take it apart without separateing the tracks and *****. It all came out thru the rear of the trak assembly. Just remember to make a measurement of where the trolley is on the scew on each side so they will be equal on reassembly or the track will bind. Anyway it worked for awhile but I am starting to get the rocking motion again. I really dont like the electric seats anyway as the drivers seat is about 2-3 inches higher than the non motorize passenger seat. I would like to put a non motorized passenger seat frame on the drivers side to gain more head room. I only slide the seat front to rear anyway and dont need the multi-adjustment features. Then the rocking would be gone forever. Read all the tech tips on the forum archives and you will see enough info to do the fix.
