Default Considering going N02...again

I was thinking about going with nitrous again, but still have concerns about reliability. I have a 231/237 cam in my car right now, and have been told that it loves the haha gas. If I sprayed a 100 wet shot say a max of 15 times a year what possible probs. would I be looking at? For reference, I have a 99 with 22,500 on the odometer. I hit a couple challenges a year and am working on a built tranny right now. Also with the tuning to handle the spray what types of HP and TQ will I sacrifice on overall driveing without the spray?

There should be no reliability issues with spraying low hp level N2O on you engine. You start to have issues when you push the power level of the system you have. For instance, running anything over 150hp on the single nozzle systems can cause some cylinder leaning issues.
You also need to make sure to only spray above 3000rpm to prevent F/N mixture issues
Finally, Since you only spray occasionally, go ahead and tune for maximum performance, and get a timing tuner to pull some timing when you use the gas

Best thing you can do is have it tuned on and off the bottle with LS1 Edit or equivelant. Get a window switch, fuel pressure safety switch, colder (copper) plugs and you should be good to go. I've had absolutely no issues at all on 125 wet.
