I got VBP tie rod ends because mine needed to be replaced, and I heard they stand up to heat from the brakes better than the stock ones. No instructions were included. Any specific advice I should follow for install or maintenance? I found a torque spec for the stock ones online, of 33ft-lbs. I don't plan on doing anything maintanence wise except reminding the guy who does the oil change that they have a grease fitting.

If you are getting a ton of heat wrap them with some shielding which is pennies. You will need to realign. If they were the same end you could count the threads and position the same.
I got the old ones off, new ones are ready to go on.
Has anyone installed the VBP tie-rod ends personally? There's a small zerk fitting, but the hole in the tie rod end the threaded end of the zerk fitting is supposed to go into, is not threaded. I can't imagine why the fitting wasn't installed by the manufacturer, or why the hole isn't at least threaded. Is there any reason *not* to put the zerk fitting in? I doubt I could just screw it in, the fitting looks like it's brass. Guess I'll take the fitting to the hardware store and get a tap with the same threads.
Also, should I put anti-seize on the tie rod, and nut it seats against? Or loctite? Or neither?
I'm not trying to sound like a clueless idiot, but when I do stuff like this to my car, I like to follow the manufacturers instructions to the letter. This time there were no instructions.
Thanks,
Miles
