Who makes the easiest short throw shifter out of all of the most popular? I don't want a hard shifter. Just want a more positive feel - not so lose as the stock, and a shorter throw.
Thanks

I have the Kirban and like it. It is quick and snaps in/out of gear much better than stock. Mine was a little stiff when new but after I broke it in ....I became happier. My wife can drive the car...that says it all!
Use the softest springs that come with the shifter and give it two months to loosen up. Its an awesome shifter that I've used for a year now and couldn't be happier with it.

BPP comes with different spring settings and has a very short throw. Cant be shifting like a pansy though You do have to put a little effort into it. I like it, personally.

Where do I buy a BPP?
The wife needs to be able to do the shifty thing. If wifey gets p*ssed because of a mod, then must listen to on mods, as well as no mo "personal relations".
I had a BPP shifter (bought it direct from Breathless, they give members a 10% discount, just tell them when you order that you are a CF member). I had to sell the shifter after 3 days in my Z. I had a major shoulder injury 6 years ago. Even with the softest springs, I could feel the muscles in my arm getting ready to tear when shifting into 5th, 6th and Reverse. The first four gears were fine. It may have loosened up after a while, but when I couldn't move my arm when I got home, it was time to put the factory shifter back in. It is a great product! Please don't get it wrong. If it weren't for my shoulder, I would still have it in there. It is a quality piece!!

The BPP is Breathless Performance Products. You can find their banner in the vendors list. They include a White spring set with their shifter that the BPP guy had dubbed the "woman" spring. I cant give input as I never changed my springs.

Also don't forget the Red Line D4 ATF in the trans. This also helps a lot too!
