Default Heads I win!!

Want to keep stock block. Making 304 rwhp -285 rwtq. If I add heads,228 or so cam, long tube headers, what power at the back wheels do you think I can get. Heard around 400 rwhp with LS6 heads. What about with the AFR 205 heads?

360 - 390 rwhp. Just do a forged bottom-end, Stage IV or V tranny, and a TTi Stage II or Stage X TT kit and be done with it .

Good luck,

Mark

A good set of ported LS6 heads and decent cam and long tube headers will take you up to 400 RWHP without much trouble. Just my .02

I have a mild 224/224 .563 lift cam, ls6 heads mild porting, with stock valve size and stock compression, pulley, cut factory air box & stock exh. manifolds with z06 cat back this made 374rwhp thru 3.90 gears. with some Long tubes and Blackwing I should see 400+. the 228 cam with a higher lift should make 400+ if you use similar parts and get it tuned.
I have LGM long tubes, I am waiting for winter.

I have '98 A4 - Perf. Mods- Stage 2 LPE Heads. Long tube Belanger Tri-Y headers, 224/.581/114 Cam, Votex Air, Ported Throttle body, LS6 intake, Tri Flow Exhast, Yank/LPE 2800 TC, with dyno tune - 394RWHP, 364RWTQ. (3.15 Gears)
Underdrive pulleys would be another 5-7 RWHP.
Good Luck!
You'll love the power!
