Default car stalls (shuts down )

i have a 2000 vert with 6200mi. it has many mods, h&c; ported tb;flp headers ; dbl roller timeing chain ;vararam b2; ls6 intake man;etc, etc. my problem is that the car shuts down when you come to a stop. it runs perfect when not in the a/c mode. if i come to a stop sign and push on the a/c button the car goes from 800 rpm to either 450 or 500 rpm or it just goes to 0 ,just like you have turned the key of. i don't know and neither do the gm mechanic or my tuner know whats going on. when not in a/c mod the car runs perfect. the car hasn't been driven much this year and wondering if the a/c compressor could be boggig down. any input from anyone would be appreciated . by the way the a/c works great and above 1000 rpm the car runs great but as soon as i decelerate and gets near idle speed the problem arises.

I know it sounds obvious, but bump the idle. And I think there is an adjustment for the amount of compensation with a/c load in LS1 Edit if memory serves.

Is this a recent problem or has the car never been right since the head and cam install?

How about doing another idle relearn? Sounds like the PCM is not compensating for the AC and may not have the right "calibration". An idle relearn (in the service manual) should address that.
