I need a bar for my daily driver/weekend track car. Local track said said that they'd rather not see me till it's done.
Does anyone know all the things that need to be done to run under 12.0?
Who and where can I get a bar installed? Anyhting to watch out for?
thanks,
J
I am also interested in this. I think some guys are using a roll bar from wolfe racecraft www.wolferacecraft.com I would like to find out what are the requirements for a legal bar. I think it has to be welded to the frame.
Wolfe says under Roll Bars that a 4 point is NOT NHRA legal. Takes a 5 point that is welded. Might give them a call and see what they say. Local guy I know got booted from the track in a vert for no bar.....
Did find out NHRA and IHRA have different rules especially for verts! Local track here is IHRA.
I order the 5 point from wolfracecraft last Monday. They are about 2 weeks out before they ship. I will post after I get mine and it is installed.
5 point I think is legal until 10.99 than you need a 6 point. A full roll cage is required under 10. Don't quote me on this, I believe this is what I remember reading. I am using the rollbar for nccc autocross events.

The NHRA rule book states the bar must be welded or bolted to the frame.
BTW - ECS has the best looking roll bar available, you won't be disappointed
