I'll keep it brief..my '99 frc has had LS1 edit (Breathless Performance) ported throttle body, Blackwing, Magnaflow x-pipe, B&B prt's, B&B long tube headers(stock cats). I don't really want to change heads, fly cut pistons. Don't mind changing valve springs. which cam would give me the best performance and lope, w/o causing any install or driveability problems? I know I will have to re-edit. I heard the LG motorsports G5X2 and fell in love!, will it work with my set-up? Currently dyno'ed 336RWHP, 359RWTQ. Also going to install underdrive pulleys. I'm going to call them very soon, but wanted to hear from the Forum also. Thanks! Greg
Want drivability with a nice sound makes good power. Try a 228/588 lsa 112. Cant go wrong with it. I got a friend that has it in his Z06 and he makes 400+rwhp
The G5X2 will work without fly cutting your pistons since you are using unmilled stock heads. You have most of the bolt on's so the G5X2 will work with your set up. If you decide to go for the G5X2 make sure you install a really good dual valve spring. Like Patroit Golds, Comp 921s or Crane 832s. I assume you are still running your stock 3.42 gears, you might want to consider going to a 3.90 or 4.10 rear to compliment a really big cam.
Mitch C...yep I'm still running the 3.42's and really don't want to change them at this time, I guess changing them would make the car more drivable at lower speeds?

You can get away with using 3.42s. But as you said your car will have better driveability and better performance with bigger gears.
