I will call on my experience once again in my trusty 280zx.
Had a set on the zx (straight six). I think they were 109 bucks. They were mild steel and blew out at the 3rd or fourth tube about 3 inches out from the block. they did last about 30,000 miles.
Not bad for the price but I usually get about 60,000 miles on a set of headers for that car. (Car has 305,000 miles right now) would not buy that brand again. Plus they will rust and look like crap if you don't coat them which adds about another 100 bucks or so.
Since you asked for an opinion, I would not put them on my c5 if they paid ME $250. (I am assuming they are mild steel.)

hope this helps you make your decision.
Had a set of Pacesetters on my C4 for 4 weeks, real bad experience. They were warped and leaked like hell no matter what we did. Replaced them with Hookers that fit perfectly.
