I have had both systems on my car. The Vararam is a cold air system and will give you better performance. The Blackwing is a non cold air system that is not quite as good performance wise but you will be less likely to have water ingestion issues. Both systems are good it just depends on what you want. I currently have the Vararam on my car.

I think you mean "Blackwing". Both are good but you have to be a bit more concerned with possible water ingestion issues during or after severe rains with the cold air systems.

superx101,

VARARAM VR-B2!!!!

We are actually running them on sale so this may just be the right time for you and everyone else to get in on this.

Check out this thread for more info:

From seeing before and after dyno testing results from the Vararam, I can honestly say that it will be VERY DIFFICULT if not impossible to find a better intake system over the Vararam. The Vararam is the only aftermarket intake that showed 20 degree cooler MAF temp readings. This gives you an efficient cooler running set-up which is ALWAYS good.

Shawn
