Anyone "FIX" the Power Antenna?
Mine stopped going down.. Sounds like the dreaded broken ribbon syndrome..
I took out the Antenna unit and put it on my workbench. I tried to open the ribbon spool to see if the ribbon had in fact broken. I would be able to remove the leftover piece..
and realized they have Rivet'd it shut.
Also it does not look like I can get the actual Antenna part out..
Any ideas??
I have fixed 2 other antennas this way with no problems.. Tell me I do not have to blow $100 to replace the entire unit..
