Finally got around to taking a look at the car today and sure enough, intake pipes, etc are SOAKED, standing water in the air-bridge
Car still runs, but "chugs and stutters" at increased rpms.
Over the next few days, I'll get her jacked up and remove the filters and do a clean an oiling on 'em and jerk all the turbo tubing and intake ducting to remove any water that may be present.
I can only hope there's no motor damage, but I think I'm aiming too high with the luck I've had with this damn car
At least I have Poker to tide me over, thankful for something going right!

Wow, I am really sorry to here about another bad break for you. Let's hope you've used up your allocation of bad luck for the next 5 years. We will all keep our fingers crossed for you.
Jeez Mark..... How much trouble can one man have with his vette
I'm even starting to wonder, but hell, I got beat up at the poker tables this afternoon too, but I'm still ahead overall....gotta think there's an end in site somewhere soon
'Cause I know it's f'd up and I really don't feel like dealing with it right now
Mark, I hate, hate, hate to hear this. I was so hoping it was just moisture fouling stuff and that drying it out would fix it like how a few other's have lucked out here.
I named the 6-speed shift **** pin the "Demon Key" almost 3 years ago. In the wake of that infamy, I christen this car Lucifer's Lingenfelter.
Best of luck in chasing the ghouls out of her by Halloween.
I know exactly how you feel. I had so many little problems going on with my car I almost didn't want to drive it for fear something else would break. I'm not going to say that I think it should be good for a while because that would just jinx me. I've really gotten my moneys worth out of AAA. Two tows, one for a low oil problem (leak) and the other for a blown clutch. The oil leak took 4 weeks of this summer to finally get it fixed. Clutch took more than a week. Last fall it was the gas guage problem. I've spent more in repairs than I have in car payments. I guess you either got to be financially capable or nuts to own one of these things. Luckily I'm both.
