Default Help with Euros!!

I installed the red/clear euros today along with the wiring harness, and followed the instructions to cutting the white wire under the dash! Well, I cut the white wire under the dash, the one near the brake pedal with the three wires coming out of the little module thing! Now my brakes will not light up at all! Not even the clear section! Before, everything would light up! What did I do wrong? Help!! BTW the turn signals work, but no taillights or brake lights!

Make sure the cut ends of the white wire are not touching or near each other. Check to make sure you didn't cut any other ones. This may sound silly, check the bulbs. Then double check your instructions to make sure you got the white wire. That is all I can think of for now. Good luck

OK, heres the deal! I hooked the white wire back, and the amber lights light up, but the red brake lights do not( not even the third brake light) when you apply brakes! I must have thought they did before I cut the wire due to the sun hitting them! With the car off when I apply the brakes the DIC lights up( what's up with that)! I even hooked it back up the factory way, and the brake lights work, and the DIC lights don't come on when you apply the brakes while it is hooked up factory! Is this something that the euro lights harness does?? Right now, I hooked the white wire back up, and all I get is the amber lit up when I apply brakes! Sorry mine did not come with instructions, since I purchased these off of Ebay, which everything was still new in unopened boxes! I just did not get the instructions! Do I have something backwards? Sorry, if this is a jumbled mess with run on sentences, but I am trying to get this done before it gets real late! Thanks

Have you checked the fuses?
When you stepped on the brakes before you cut the white wire, the backfeeding/confilct of the 12v brake/turn circuits could have taken out your brake light fuse. You noticed the problem only after you cut the wire, and by then the fuse could have already been blown.
If you find a blown fuse, don't step on the brake until you've re-seperated the white wire you cut.

I had similar problems.I assume it is the harness.I bought mine from a forum member and he said they worked when he removed them from the car.I have not had time to trace the problem,I just chaned back to factory harness and will figure it out when it gets cold out and the car is sitting.By the way,the white wire only seperates the brake lights from the turn signals. We have another problem!

OK, I checked the fuses, which were fine, and now I am stumped!! I guess the brake lights didn't light up before I cut the white wire, just the clear section. In my first post I said that the brake lights and everything lit up before I cut the white wire! It really does look like the harness is bad! It's like no power is getting to the Brake lights, just the clear when you apply brakes! I do not even have reverse lights when this new harness is hookedup! Does this happen with all euro harnesses? Where when you hook the new harness up in between the existing one and go apply brakes, that the DIC lights up, and it dings like the lights are on, but no keys are in the ignition, and the lights are not on! Too bad somebody don't have a extra wiring harness?? Here are some pics of the connections!! Can anybody compare them with what you may have? Jason
