Radio/CD Power connection??
Factory Radio Replacement Interface." I believe their website it soundgate.com. Their only official online distributor is logjam electronics which can be found through the soundgate website. From what I understand it is the only true “plug and play” harness made for the corvette. But you will still need to follow the instructions and ground two wires off the harness and there is also a power (or ignition lead) of the ignition switch. You need to tap in to the brown wire off the ingnition to the red wire off the harness. This tells the head unit to turn on once the key is turned to ACC. (It has been a little while since I have done this and since i am at work i can't really check it so hopefully someone else will chime in and agree or call my BS)
…I hope this is what you are asking. If not, try to give a little more info of what you are trying to do. Also, you will get a lot more help and much better info than my crappy explanation above in the audio section.
) and put that second post in the audio section. I'm just not familiar enough with how to do that. But it seems to me, as long as you give the sat. radio a power source and a ground, you should be able to do the rest by connecting it to the "window Valet" the same way the car radio is...Your car radio always has a 12V source and a ground, the only thing that keeps it from staying on all the time is the ingition lead that sends a signal to turn on and off when the ignition is on. You have simply thrown in an extra variable to send that signal a little earlier. Therefore, I think if you simply hooked the sat. radio to the car radio's power source it would give the sat. radio power but not that signal to turn on when you want it. I think you will still need to tap into the "window valet" to give that wanted earlier signal. Have I made any sense you have I stepped out of my league?
