Installing the Magnuson Supercharger required replacing the fuel pump. Due to circumstances, I was not the person to reinstall the fuel pump. The instructions neglected to mention that the bolts needed to be torqued in a star pattern, and the factory manual recommends using a special tool as torque wrenches can't get the (from memory) _3_ ft-lbs of torque the fasteners require.
In my dim memories, there was a magazine article on swapping out the fuel pump to get rid of the noise. In the article, they used special bolts with heads that sheared off when the proper torque was reached.
1) Anybody know a source for these bolts? Will the GM dealer look at me funny when I ask for them?
2)The fuel gasket looks like a nice, supple THICK piece, is it reusable, or should it be replaced after leaking like this?
