Smart move. I've had both and currently run the VaraRam so I know where you're coming from. Blackwing is a great bang-for-buck and goes on in 15-30 minutes.

installing vararam
this is my first time on the forum. i just bought my first vette. an 04 coupe. how easy is it to install vararam b2? i'm thinking of getting either the vararam or the blackwing. any help would be greatly appreciated

I installed the vararam and it was a complete PIA. I didn't like it so i took it off and put the stock stuff back on. When I got my blackwing it only took 30 minutes to install. It seems like it is a higher quality part too.

The Vararam is more difficult to instal then the blackwing but it isn't that bad. As long as you take your time and be patient it will go on without problems. The instructions suck just to warn you. Kaley

I went from Blackwing to Vararam. No doubt the Blackwing is a nicer part and FAR easier to install...but the car is more fun with the Vararam, and it shows at the track.
