Headlight problems, please help!
Headlight problem
I am experiencing a strange problem with the headlights. It started when my headlight would go up with a delay. When I turn the switch on the steering wheel, the headlights would come up on the random 3, 4, 6 minutes later. Than I they stopped coming up at all. I thought a bad switch on the steering wheel. However once I started lifting them up manually, they would react to closing, and than again started coming up on random. Today they feel like coming up every time I turn the switch, but when I close them, the left one makes a cracking noise for a couple of second. So naturally I think the gears on the motor is bad. But why the delay? Could I have a bad motor in conjunction to some other problem? Relay or Switch? or the bad motor doesn't allow response to the headlights? Another weird thing, when I lift them up manually they still turn on at random. Any help is much appreciated.

You might want to first check the battery post and make sure they are tight with a wrench. If that checks out good and you still have the same problem you have a bad switch as with alot of people on this forum but I haven't found a good work around yet so good luck.
