Default GHL vs LG Headers

Not looking to start any battles here, but wanted to get some opinions from the forum on these two header packages w/ high flow cats and the stock TI exhaust. Putting aside costs, which would you go with? I have an '04 ZO6

GHL
Easiest to install
Uses all 4 O2 sensors
No ground clearance issues
New to market so not a proven system

LG
Easy to install
Uses only 2 sensors, simms not yet available for other 2 sensors
Extends down about 1/2" below frame rails
Proven system

I would be installing the system myself, and live in NJ with crappy roads, so clearance is a concern for me. Car has not been lowered because of this.

I am ready to buy one or the other, so would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks!

I am interested in both also along w/Dynatechs. How about a price comparison:

LG: 1,795 (plus simms) + shipping
Dynatech: $1,495 (now on sales even lower at Tbyrne) +shipping
GHL: $1,499 Delivered

I would bet, based on their track record w/ cat-back exhaust and availability for direct consultation, if any problems were to arise from 'new to market' aspect, GHL would go to ends of earth to rectify and keep you satisfied. Then again, noting absolute past attention to quality of construction, fit and finish I'm guessing these GHL's have neen tested/designed within an inch of their lives and would prove to be a complete package w/ no issues whatsoever. Went to a Corvette show w/ 500+ cars, mostly C-5's, and spent the day looking under cars at exhaust systems. The GHL's stood out in terms of alignment, finish, welds & construction. I would expect their header system to be no less. Just my opinion...but I'm already thinking about it for next spring and I just heard about them doing a header yesterday.

Do the LG's really hang down a half inch past the stock setup?

I thought they tucked up exactly like stock system?

I had sent an email to Lou of LG and his reply was that at the lowest point, at the collector, the system is about 1/2" below the frame rails.

There was another thread here where someone had noted that the LG's protrude the most. I guess that's the trade-off with them, but had hoped to hear some real life experiences from people that have them on their everyday cars, and how much they bottom out.

Yes they do hang down (LG's) mine actually a little further than a half inch but I have never bottomed out or hit anything with them. I have lowered the car recently on the stock bolts and went testing on some crappy, dippy roads looking for diving and squat conditions as well as searching out speed bumps to try and nothing but the front airdam ever scraped.
