Is thare anything to this rumor... I heard that once you use one of these on a vehicle you cannot use it on a different vehicle. And if you tried it would mess up your computer on the second vehicle. Any truth to this???

No. Some of th units lock on to a specific VIN, but none will mess up a second VIN. They simply won't access it.

Hypertech for example....basically swaps the new program for your old program....so if you want to use it on another vehicle you can..BUT you need to return the first vehicle to Stock be swapping programs again
