Default Which X Pipe

I plan on adding a X pipe this coming weekend. Is one brand/design better than another?

I don't know which one it best, but when I was looking for an X-Pipe I decided against ones like the Corsa, pictured below.

I would choose one with more of a definate "X" like the Bassani, pictured below, or the MagnaFlow.

I was going to install the MagnaFlow untill I found out how it would affect my Corsa Indy's.

I thought the X pipe was supposed to balance out the flow and prevent the decel popping and gurgling sounds. I'm installing the Corsa Indy pipes on my '04 and was watching this thread for the same info. What kind of affects are you talking about?

I am looking at the MTI Exhaust X-Pipe for $199. I would rather not pay the additional $100 for the Corsa Version.

The day before I was going to have the Indy's and X-Pipe installed I stopped by the shop for something just when they were opening up. This was a rather large wherehouse thpe building with probably 40' ceilings. There were two Vettes they had to back out of the garage, both with Corsa Indy's. One with an X-Pipe and one without. He started up the one without the X-Pipe to back it out, what a sweet sound. After he parked it he came back for the other one. He started it and you could barely hear it run.

I happen to like the popping and gurgling, and most importantly the loudness. It is a personal preference. A few minutes later I talked with the owner of the Vette with the X-Pipe and he said he had the Indys installed abd a few months later had the X-Pipe installed because he didn't like the popping and gurgling. He said he was real dissapointed at first because the X-Pipe really quieted down the exhaust, but he really liked it now. He said it gives the Indy's more of a European sound that is more refined.

Also the X-pipe will not totally eliminate the popping, but will significantly reduce it.

All I know is when I get out on the track and those Indys are screaming thats the best sound in the world.
