Help with un-lowering (raising?)

Sold my 97 and just picked up an 01 Z06 and the previous owner took out the screws and bushings in the front. The spring is riding directly on the A-Frame. Will this hurt anything? I would like to raise it up maybe an inch to clear the driveway. Can I but the bushing in without the leaf spring compressor shown in the service manual? Where can I get the screws and bushings?

Cruise-In V Veteran

It will not hurt the springs or A-arm without the bushings. HardBar sells a front bolt kit. You'll have to drop the lower A-arms to get them in.

Do I still have to take the a-arms off?

You can if you have them. Gm does not sell the bolt/bushings. You have to buy the whole spring. You do have to drop the A-arms!
