Decisions Decisions Decisions....
Well, this season is almost wrapped up. We're debating what setup were going to run next year and want to see what you guys think.
Option 1: Guaranteed consistent 9 sec car with nitrous
AFR 225 hand finished heads 12.0:1 CR
Comp Cams 250/258 XER 112lsa
Fast 90mm Intake
Nick Williams 90mm TB
Jesel Rockers
Option 2:
AFR 225 hand finished heads 9.0:1
Comp Cams turbo grind TBD
LS6 intake + factory TB
Custom T76 or T88 single turbo ***

What's wrong with option #2 but with the FAST intake & NW TB?

Turbo by far - at least if you want your car to have stock like manners.

I have heard from a few people that the fast intake doesn't like boost...
Phil
kumar75150,
The tough parts of the system are mapped out, just a matter of rounding up the parts and getting it done.
mdhmi,
I definitely love turbos just dont want to build a system that is slower than my current combo.

Phil, I have heard from most people that there isnt room in the C5 to house a big single turbo like a T88 without sacrificing something like AC.
If you could build a single kit that can make good power, you would have many many people interested.
The motor + nitrous route will be simple and you will be able to run 9s all day but turbos are soooo cool and have so much potential.
