Oil Pump Replacement
I am looking for a real good oil pump to swap in when I do my H&C change. I need a ported & blueprinted one. Anybody know where to get a good one? Plain porting is not good enough!

The 'porting' that most, if not all, companies is pretty much the same as 'plain' porting. They open up and smooth out the inlet from the pickup tube and the outlet where the pump fits to the block. Some companies shim the spring to increase pressure. There really is nothing special about porting the oil pump. It is pretty basic.

I know all about the poting of oil pumps, that was not my point. The difference is I wanted a pump to be blueprinted as well. Blueprinting is important because it minimizes tolerances such as gear clearances, plate fit, flatness, etc. Very important in my opinion, not just a port job.
