Questions about lowering the car....
I have seen around and even here in the forum that members lowered their cars and i think they look awsome...but my question is this:
it's already a pain in the neck always checking and be carefull with your front end because it touches everywhere..so what is the main reason to make the car lower?
i guess it's because it will improve the handling, having the car more stable, even if i know that sometimes the handling could be worse??
or people just do it because it looks good?
help please...
i use my vette everyday on streets here in south Florida and never yet on racetrack.
will lower the car make sense...?
thanks...

It's a free Mod.... if you like the look, then do it.. it is easily reversable..

pretty much but it isn't hard and you could change it daily if you wanted. Of course I always go for looks first with whatever it might be

Naturally a lower center of gravity will add some dimension to the handling.

Can someone post some step by step instructions on how to do this? Is it self explanitory once you get under the car?
Thanks!

"Patches" has a great write-up with pictures. Here's the link:

I've done and it's not too hard. IMO it really improves the look.
