Blocker Ring Update on 6 spd Trannies?

Blocker Ring Update on 6 spd Trannies?
Does anyone know if there was an update to the 1st/2nd gear blocker rings in the 6 spd trannies sometime after '98? I have problems with my transmission popping out of 1st gear when I let the clutch out. I have a couple of friends with '97 and '98 cars that have the same issue. I haven't heard of this issue with the newer 6 speeds.... Did they make updates to the blocker rings, perhaps?
Any info appreciated. I have had my transmission apart and replaced hub/slider assemblies as well as gears and still have this problem. The blocker rings seemed to be fine, but I can only assume that they are the problem. I would like to get this problem solved for good the next time I pull the tranny out (most likely this winter).
