I have a 99 FRC, LS1 powered, and I am upgrading to an LS6 intake. The LS6 intake includes the stock LS6 injectors which I believe are 28 lb/hr units. Are these bigger than the stock 99 LS1 injectors ? My vette is in the shop getting a CarTech Stage II H/C install done, and I am planning on adding this LS6 intake & injectors as well, if the injectors are a step up from my stock ones. Any help or enlightenment on this would be greatly appreciated ! Thank's Steve.
You are tuning for the H/C job anyway, just get the tune changed for the new injectors. Depending on what you are putting on, you may need them anyway. At a minimum, you might be running the duty cycle of the 26# injectors at their limit. I plan to do the same when I put my H/C package on.....
Thank's for the replies, so the stock '99 LS1 injectors are 26Lb and the LS6 injectors are 28Lb per hour units ? Also, I am using the predator programming with a custom tune, so the pulse bandwidth can be tuned with the predator just as with the LS1 edit ? Thank's Again, Steve.
