I put on a LS6 intake and now my car won't idle. I made sure I have all of the connection correct but when I start it up it jumps to 2000 rpm and then it backs down and stalls if I don't keep my foot on the gas. Is there some sort of relearn process or have I done something wrong? HELP!

There is an idle relearn process
1 disconnect throttle postition sensor with car off
2 turn key to on and back off
3 Start car let idle for 5 minutes in drive
4 put in park let idle for 5 minutes
5 turn car off for 30 seconds then restart
This is the idle relearn process and has worked great for me after making changes.
Yeah something doesnt sound quite right. I just did mine 2 weeks ago and the tiny vacum hose in the back came out. It was just loud, my car still idled fine. Strange, check everything over a couple more time.
There is a very small vacuum hose that is located between the intake and the firewall. Make sure you have attached this which is a (PITA) or you will have an issue. Just a thought...
It is amazing how much smoother it idles when you connect the hose back to the brake booster. It had gotten wedged down under the master cylinder and I didn't see it. I feel like such a dufus. Going to go get everything buttoned up now, I hope the local cats lick up my antifreeze before it stains the driveway Thanks you guys.
