Default shifting and rev limiter

A4, with maggie...the car shifts fine under WOT, never misses a shift and shifts hard. When I do a burnout (me, never)...it will bounce off the limer before shifting....kinda like it revs so fast it just can shift fast enough, same issue is I try to shift manually,. it will bounce off the limter before it shifts, even if I move the shifet at 5,000 rpm... It this normal,, or a sing of more mod money , like a new trans... I feel the shift point needs lowered a little.. my tuner ( a very good one) has offered to re-cal the shift points....think it will work??....I guees I just want to know if my tranny is going out

sounds like your not getting any traction!I have the same problem.I don't always here the tires spinning because the runflats don't have that squeal until they get a little heated up.I have my limiter set at 6700 because I got tired of the limiter kicking in and making the car miss.I did upgrade the valve springs to handle the higher revs though. It will still bounce of the limiter if I get into it hard.

yup, we gave a seruous lack of tracton, 3.73 gears and the maggie, even with bgf kw's , it spins alot.. Actually I love doing burnouts....I always have.. . Yet, still I can modulate the go pedal go get some real good traction if I need it...
