Default Please Post Pics of Installed Catch Cans

I am considering installing an oil catch can (AMW) but cannot figure out where to mount the sucker. I know many of you are running these so please post pics and how you mounted it so I can get some idea where it should go. Thanks.

One of the guys mounted his up forward on the right inside part of the frame rail next to the air cleaner assembly. I don't remember if that was Patches of Afvette. I've also seen one mounted next to the battery shield on the passenger side.
Ed...Tom...you out there?

Here is my catchcan I built for about $9 including the cost of the hose. Rolled up inside is a 4" square x .25" thick foam filter thats used on Briggs & Stratton engines and does a great job of soaking up the oil mist. You can get all of the pieces at Home Depot or Lowes. Its definitely better than the tiny compressor filters some guys are using. The bottom of the can has a 1" removable PVC plug so I can remove the filter and clean everything out.

Check out this thread and you might find a few more options:

Default AMW Catch-can Install Pics and Availability

Below is what I recently posted on another thread:

Very recently, I obtained an AMW Catch-can for testing purposes. It's a VERY high quality piece of work, and is of a great design. It is also small enough in diameter to allow for mounting in a cooler spot, away from the engine, unlike other brands that pretty much force you to install then in the engine compartment itself, which lowers their efficiency due to heat. Check out the pics below for a great installation location in the battery compartment, which not only keeps the can cooler, but allows for proper vertical mounting which is a must for maximum efficiency; plus, this location also convenient for servicing.

The AMW can has been installed in my car for about 3 weeks now and does a great job keeping the output hose (back to the intake) completely dry. My testing is done, and I was going to return it to them since they have an unconditional return policy (that's how good they are), but if anyone's interested, I'd sell it for $75 shipped, which will save you about $20. Just so you know, the unit is so new, not enough oil has even been collected yet to even drip off the filter material down to the bottom of the can. Of course, I would clean what little oil there is in the filtering area before shipping it. I did not even use the hose they sent, so the kit would be completely as they shipped it.
