Default Frame protectors

I had previously read that you could buy frame protectors that weld or bolt onto the sides of the car. They are for protection for lowered cars etc..

Does anyone have any info on these?

Here's a shot of my driver's side Rocker Rail. They work great.

The best part is you can pick the car up (using some sort of puck) from anywhere on the rail. I use a point just behind the rear view mirror and get both wheels up for changing to track wheels.

Did you feel any suspension gains with the rocker rails? Did it stiffen up the chasis?

No, none. They run along frame rails so in fact I am glad.

The rails serve no function for chassis stiffening - they are sacrificial rails designed to protect the rocker panels. A side benefit is that you can jack the car on the rail without having to use jacking pucks. In fact, the jacking pucks no longer fit int he slots, as you can see in the pic I posted above.
