Borla Straight Pipes??

I have a 99 C5 and was wondering if anyone has put borla's straight pipe system on their car and if they like it or regret it. I want a extremely agressive tone, but have heard straight pipes on other cars and think it sounds like s---. Maybe the corvette is different, I dont know. I just dont want to pay 6hundred+ for a cat back system.

Help me out.

I saw a set of these on a Z at a hooters gathering and they are LOUD!
if you want to know how they sound take off your mufflers and drive around

i have straight pipes.they were only 350 something shipped xpress!from xtreme motorsports or something like that.they sound sweet.

Random Tech also has a race system which is nothing but piping, no mufflers or resonators. to me its very monotone, but its not as loud as youd think it would be at least until you hammer it.

I have them on my car and love them. Long tube headers, gutted cats, and straight pipes. It is loud when you get on it but it isn't to bad when you are just cruising around. Kaley
