Power seats question on C5

Power seats question on C5
my driver and passenger power seats move back and forth (foward and back) about 1 inch no matter what position. Is there slack for a reason or is this normal on C5 vettes?

Very Common on the earlier C5 Seat tracks, You Have 2 options, 800.00 Smackers for 2 new and improved seat tracks, or "the Fix"

Somebody else might chime in with the exact year the better, heavier duty seat tracks where incorperated, my guess is 2001.
Also, if you use the memory feature everytime you drive the car, it might have shown up early enough to have the warranty take care of it.....
I plan on trying the Fix this weekend...at least on the passenger seat. I`ll keep ya`ll posted on how it goes!
