In a word, NO. The rear IROC wheels are offset different than the front, all third gen 16 inch f-body wheels have a different front and rear offset. The rears sit inside the wheel wells further and might just nearly clear the brake caliper's but will hit the upper constrol arm before you get the lugs fully tight. Now the front IROC/TA/GTA wheels will fit on the rear of the Vette, the caliper will be very very close to the inner wheel, its so close that some wheels might fit and some might hit just depends on machining tolerances when each wheel was made. Even if they do bolt on and clear the caliper they kind of stick out of the wheel well, enough to look funny, a couple inches. We did some experimenting with some third gen and fourth gen F-body wheels last weekend on my 98 Vette and 98 Conv TA. Iam planning on running some DR's mounted on stock Trans Am 16 inch Diamond Spoke Cross Lace wheels at the track this weekend if they dont boot me from the track for them sticking out of the wheel wells. These TA wheels are the lightest factory GM alum wheels ever made, they weigh 16 lbs each. The shorter 16" tire should also improve my gear ratio just a hair too. The stock 4th gen 16 inch wheels will not fit at all on the C5, tried those too they just wont clear the brakes.

Ya, even with the front you pretty much have to try one before you get to the track. The wheels were made by at least two different sources through the years they were in production. In my opnion the later wheels were better quality.I have had 8 or 9 third gens and spent alot of time screwing with the wheels! :~) I didnt even think to try my dad's C4 16' wheels off his 88, next time.Man I hate grinding on suspension components, if you do it make sure you radius any grinds.Dont leave score marks or it will act like a score mark when cutting glass.Good luck!
