Not quite apples to apples but here are my 3 sets of 60' times - Completely stock A4 w/3.15's

2.065 - Just stomp on it (AH/TC on)
2.06 - Power Brake a little bit (AH On/ TC off)
2.055 - Power brake a bit more (AH on/TC off)

I load the car just a bit and ease the throttle all the way to WOT, it takes time to learn and get a feel for the car. My best 60' time on crapflats was 1.98 On a hot and sticky day. Just learn see what the car like before spinning the tires.

My C4 always launched better flashing. It had a mild 2600 stall that would bite better from a standstill as opposed to loading the chassis. If found that loading it didn't give the car a chance to transfer weight back. It was basically repeating my burnout at the starting line.

I've tried it both ways and brake torquing it does not seem to help it launch any harder. When the track is sticky I still end up bogging either way, even with a full throttle launch with 3.15 gears and runflats.

My best 60ft is a 1.97, which I got last weekend by leaving off idle and mashing the pedal to the floor. On that run the tires spun just the slightest little bit, so the engine didn't bog too badly.

I'm convinced that if I could get my dyno tune redone and if they could find me more bottom end torque, I could eliminate that bogging problem and then it'll run in the 12s when the track is sticky and the air is cool.

one day the difference was a 1.69 to a 1.65. I give up reaction time flashing it instead of loading it though.
