..I have a ZO6 with Kooks headers, Off road Xpipe, Halltech stinger and a few more bolt on goodies and dyno tune.
Thinking about changing rocker arms to roller rockers. Any suggestions on ratio and any increase in HP.
Also looking to do underdrive pully's and I see some kits that are only the crank pulley.
Is it worth the trouble to get different pullys for accessories ?
I may be wrong but here it goes. The factory units are rollers already. The aftermarket units are stiffer than the stock units and more reliable at high RPM's. If you change to the aftermarket rockers you have a higher lift option of 1.85 instead of the stock 1.7. I looked into this swap and was steered away. For the price of the rockers you can buy a cam and some of the needed hardware to make a cam change.

Welll, half right. Stockers are rollers, but at the fulcrum only. The tips are not.
Aftermarkets are rollers at both locations (fulcrum and tip). The good thing about roller tips is not only the additional decrease in friction, but the added longevity of your valve guides too.
I agree that is a big expense for relatively little gain in power, unless of course you're doing a lot of other serious mods at the same time.
Roller tips are supposed to help the engine run cooler too. I guess I'll find out since soon I just ordered a set of new Harland Sharps on Wednesday for $300 shipped, which is the same price or cheaper then any cam I've seen. I'm mostly doing it for better reliability, and it'd be nice to enjoy a quieter engine and maybe a couple HP too.
