Too Much Oil in Crankcase
I took my car to the Jiffy Lube and the guy put in 7 quarts of mobil 1 and a filter. The Manual says 6.5 quarts. Will this hurt my motor. or should i not worry

Nope, GM recommends putting in 7qts during road racing.
they were probably fooled by the misleading dipstick. if its 1/2 qt low on the stick you are full.

Sorry, but Jiffy Lube was your first mistake. Kids making 4 dollars an hour working on your car, NOT ME, but its your money.

The dealership has high paid technicians that you pay high dollar labor charges to. I think the dealership screws up more than they fix. I'll stick with the 4 dollar an hour guys. You just have to keep an eye on them. I watched in the garage the whole time, or I would have never known. Most people just sit and wait or leave the car there. At least I can baby sit at Jiffy Lube. Can't do that at the dealership. Thanks for the help guys..
