To summarize I had run the MSD's for 2 years never an issue then all of a sudden this started...so when Derek called me I suggested he look at his wires specifically the one farthest back on the driver side....sure enough his looked just like mine....after talking I learned that he had a new clutch installed recently which made me realize that was the common denominator..my problems started after I got the new starter and clutch installed.....near as I can figure when they pulled the exhaust loose and rehung it they moved it forward enough to cause it to be closer than it was before thus causing this problem. Its not much but there wasn't alot of space before. Fortunately a fellow forum member has a leftover heat shield for me to use (since I threw mine out like the week before this problem its always the way ) hopefully this is the last time this happens.
