spin it while tapping with a hammer...rubber mallet if you have it....also spraying liqid wrench or similar product will help....BTW is this a rear rotor?? do you have the parking brake set??

the rotor is the rear driver side the e-brake is not on. I have tried the other suggestions you made but to no avail.

does the rotor wiggle or is it tight ?
If it wiggles , try manually backing off the e brake adjusters.
If it's tight, check for corrosion.

Big rubber mallet, and smack it HARD...mine were that way and took alot of force to come off.

other thought, which i tried, take 2 pieces of 2x4, place one on the back of the rotor, one on the front covered the wheel studs...then take a c-clamp and tighten it down....i found that useful as well.

now that i track the car, i change rotors out quite often, no time for serious rust, so they come right off.

Blowtorch then a few hits with a rubber mallet. It's probably just a bit rust-welded on. Next time get coated rotors.

Inside the rotor there is a star adjuster that turns to adjust the brake. this needs to be backed off. Use a screwdriver thru the hole and turn it until it loosens up. I can't remember which way but you'll figure it out. The adjuster is in the bottom of the backing plate.

I'm assuming it wiggles.

I went through the same damm thing a week after I ajusted by e brake, if you disconnect the e brake cable at the rear backing plate and pull off the little rubber dust cover off the arm this should give you access to the small black plastic e brake shoe adjuster, back it off and the rotor should come off

Rust usually forms around the locator boss on the rear hub.. it's a metal to metal surface where water turn the hub to rust// a shot of Kruel or wd 40 will lossen this area.. also a 3 lb. brass hammer will do the trick.
